How to park without a fine? A small collection of knowledge

Photo to the page of How to park without a fine? A small collection of knowledgeJust a few minutes' walk through the center of a large city and we will see that a large number of drivers do not fully remember the rules of proper parking. To remind you, we have prepared a small collection of knowledge. Thanks to this, you will not only remember what the basic rules of stopping are, but also how high the fines for mistakes are. The main traffic rule that concerns proper parking is the signs prohibiting stopping and standing. Although a driver can stop a car under the sign 'no parking' to pick up / drop off a passenger, this option is excluded when the sign 'no stopping' is in effect. Stop on a bridge? Stopping a car is also prohibited on a bridge, overpass, tunnel, railway crossing, pedestrian crossings and closer than 10 m from them on both sides, at intersections, on islands 30 meters in both directions, and closer than 10 meters from the exit from adjacent territories. How big is the fine for a violation? For stopping in violation of traffic rules, a fine of 255 to 510 UAH is provided, depending on whether your car creates an obstacle for other road users. Every driver should know how to park on the sidewalk. There are two rules governing this issue. First of all, the car must leave enough space for pedestrians. According to the regulations, at least two meters are required in this case. Secondly, the vehicle must be parked on the edge of the sidewalk. Should the car completely drive onto the sidewalk? This is not necessary. The car can be partially on the road if it does not obstruct traffic. Grass or soil? In the case of soil, the legislator provides for two cases. If it is artificially planted with vegetation (grass, flowers, etc.), stopping is prohibited, and committing a crime means a fine of 255 UAH. When a driver has to stop on a dirt surface on which there is no vegetation or the vegetation has grown without human intervention, this is not a violation. Do you want to be in the place of a disabled person? Hardly... When using a parking lot with designated parking spaces, park your car exactly between the lines. The driver must remember that taking up spaces for disabled people and people with children is not only a violation of traffic rules, but also an indicator of the low social development of the driver himself. In case of violation, he will not only be morally condemned by other road users, but will also be subject to punishment in the form of a fine. Although at first glance the number of rules concerning parking is very large, and we have only talked about the main ones, in fact, it is not difficult to remember them at all. Why is it especially important to follow the rules? Thanks to this, you will not only live in harmony with other road users, but, above all, avoid punishment.
