In 2016, the Best Car Rental Manufacturer award ceremony took place in the capital of South Africa. This was the seventh time that the Volkswagen division was named the winner in this nomination. The judges paid attention to:

• Level of service.

• Safety standards.
• Level of logistics.

In addition, Volkswagen received several more awards in October 2016 in the categories of 'Pricing' and 'Technically Best Manufacturer'.

Car rental requires quality

Mark Corcoran, president of the independent car leasing society, commented on the event: 'It's all thanks to the high professionalism of Volkswagen, because it has maintained its high position in the global car market for seven years. The German brand is confirmed year after year not only by the love of drivers around the world, but also by these awards.'

Volkswagen has outperformed such competitors as Hyundai and Toyota.

It is worth noting that the Korean manufacturer has significantly risen in the sales and quality ratings (from 6th to 2nd place). The South African branch of Audi also did not go without a prize - the German concern earned the Tutuka award as the highest rating for customer satisfaction in the lower price category (passenger cars) as well as economy class cars.
