Why and to whom they may not give a car for rent
Not every client
car rental company is ready to provide their vehicles for use. The following categories of people 'at risk' of receiving a refusal, and not a car:
- Age and driving experience. The driver must be 21 years of age or older, and have an average of 2 years of driving experience. Novice drivers are at risk of creating an emergency situation on the road and an accident. Therefore, there is a universal age and experience limit. A number of companies, as an exception, for double the fee allow adults with a license to get a car for a while.
- Deprivation of a driver's license. If a person has previously been noticed in a malicious violation of traffic rules, there is no guarantee that he will not repeat it again. The fact of deprivation of rights is a serious argument and basis for a negative response to car rental, even for a short period.
- Criminal prosecution and lawsuits. The company will not provide its services to persons who are wanted or are participants in lawsuits, the topic of which is the fact of an accident.
- Health status. Physical and mental illnesses that can cause an emergency situation or even lead to an accident are also a serious reason for refusing to sign a rental agreement. The company's employees can request a medical certificate about the client's health, on the basis of which they will make a positive or negative conclusion. This also includes drug and alcohol intoxication - a person seen driving a car in an inadequate state does not have the right to rent a car.
The requirements of the
CATCAR company to its clients are quite loyal. However, if you fall into any of these prohibition categories, the chance of getting a negative response to rent, even for a short time, is quite high.
