- The Canadian Red Cross Received $100,000 from Enterprise Rent-A-Car
The main reason for such a huge donation was the active participation of volunteers in extinguishing wildfires near Fort McMurray, located in the west of Canada. The Rent-A-Car chain is represented by more than 600 branches all over the country. It meets the needs for high-class means of transport:
- Insurance companies;
- Organizations and emergency situation departments;
- Repair centers and public enterprises.
The organization monitors the situation in the country, in particular, the natural and man-made disasters, emergency situations.
Rent a Car employees have developed an anti-crisis plan which proposes indispensable assistance to communities and authorities in countering difficult situations. “We are glad that our employees and their families are safe after the unfortunate events of May 2016. But we also know, dealing with consequences is far from being over and on behalf of everyone at Enterprise, we want to commend the brave firefighters, emergency services personnel and aid workers whose efforts have saved thousands of lives and the community from further devastation,” said the vice president of Enterprise in Alberta. The car rental company is a family business. Its activities in different parts of Canada can be jeopardized for a number of reasons. That is why saving lives and eliminating destructive consequences will always be the company’s top priority.
