The best rental car manufacturer has been announced: Volkswagen South Africa

In 2016 the Award Ceremony for Best Car Rental Manufacturer was held in the capital of South Africa. For the seventh time, the Volkswagen branch was announced as the winner in this nomination.

Judges paid attention to:

• Specifications
• Level of service
• Implementation of modern and experimental technologies
• Level of logistics services

Moreover, Volkswagen received several awards in October 2016 – the Value Award and Best Manufacturer’s Technical Representative.

Car Rental Demands a High Quality

Marc Corcoran, the president of the Southern African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, commented on the occasion: “It is a remarkable achievement of the Volkswagen team of professionals that they have continued to defend their Manufacturer of the Year leadership for the seventh time. Each year, the German brand is recognized not only by drivers’ love around the world but also by these awards”.

Volkswagen bested such competitors as Hyundai and Toyota.

It is worth noting that the Korean manufacturer has significantly increased its rankings in sales and quality (from 6th to 2nd place). Audi South Africa also was not left with nothing – the German concern won the Tutuka award as the highest appreciation for satisfying customer needs in the low price category (cars) and also economy class cars.
