Car Rental in Ukraine is Developing

In Kiev on August 2, 2017, the International Car Rental Association (ICRA) held the All-Ukrainian forum for the second time. There were more than 70 participants: regional and international players including SIXT, Europcar, and Hertz.

The Whole Society of Ukrainian Car Rental Was There

The largest Ukrainian car rental companies gathered in the conference room to discuss the current situation in the market and directions of development.

Partners and sponsors of the event shared their technics that could increase profit and service quality while reducing risks. Some projects were created especially for the forum participants. The companies had time to exchange their experiences: BLS presented reports on the annual results of scooters and electric cars rental – the latest types of rental.

Affordable Car Rental is Possible in Ukraine

The final and one of the most important points of the forum was a round-table talk when all participants discussed the issues of business security. This issue is especially important when there is an obvious underdevelopment of the Ukrainian legislative framework, and this causes contradictions in the business environment.

The companies decided to make simple and clear rules for doing car rental business. Stanislav Lutskovich, the president of the ICRA, mentioned how active and willing the Ukrainian car rental companies are to go international.

The ICRA has been developing, popularizing and regulating the car rental market all over the world since 2005.
